| May Knights of the Month – PGK Ralph NellerPGK Ralph Neller received the May Knight of the Month Award. He is recognized for his outstanding leadership and dedication in restoring the Parish Prayer Garden. Through his vision, coordination, and hard work, this beautiful space has been renewed as a place for prayer, reflection, and spiritual renewal for parishioners. The restored Prayer Garden was officially blessed by Bishop Frank Dewane on May 27. Thank you Ralph and the Prayer Garden committee or your service and outstanding support for the Knights of Columbus and the parish. Congratuations PGK Ralph! |
| May Family of the Month – Ray and Sally PalecznyRay and Sally were selected the May Family of the Month. They actively support the council fund raising activities. Ray and Sally have volunteered a significant amount of time supporting the council’s Golf Tournament and the Spring Training Baseball Concession Stand council fund raisers. Thank you, Ray and Sally for your service and outstanding support for the Knights of Columbus and the parish. Congratulations Ray and Sally! |

2026 K of C State Convention
The 2026 Florida State Convention was held in Orlando, FL. over the Memorial Day weekend. Delegates representing 72 council districts attended. District 51 was represented by Jon Engel (District Deputy), Scott Deahna, and Michael Mercandetti (Council #7826), Joe Gomez and Robert Ward (Council #13307).
The convention commenced Friday afternoon with a “parade of banners” followed by a series of FL State Council Officer and Committee Reports. Friday concluded with Caucuses to elect delegates to the to the Supreme Council Council.
The highlight of the Saturday session was the presentation of the “Council Awards”. During the Council Award session, the St. Thomas More Council #7826 won the following 3 awards: Second Place State Service Programs Award - Life; Second Place Faith Activities Division 3; Third Place – Vocations Support Division 3.
Congratulation to all the members of Council # 7826. Job well done.
